While safes and vaults can keep your tangible goods protected, it's also wise to consider a plan for the electronic records , #digital photos, videos and other crucial files stored on your computers. Having a hard drive in place is smart, but what if that drive is stolen or ruined in a fire?
To ensure a higher degree of date protection experts recommend cloud storage, whereby your chosen files are backed up online via a third-party provider and can be synced across multiple devices. Many companies offer free cloud storage up to a certain size limit such as Dropbox.com, Google Drive (drive.google.com) Microsoft's SkyDrive (skydrive.live.com) to name a few.
